Numerous reasons for selecting an education program at the Continuing Education Center (CEC):

Long Tradition

TU Wien is the largest Austrian institution in research and education within the areas of technology and natural sciences. The beginnings of TU Wien reach back 200 years. Today the university finds high international and domestic recognition in teaching as well as research and is a highly esteemed partner of innovation oriented enterprises.

For years TU Wien has been offering outstanding postgraduate programs and has a long tradition in continuing education. This success is also based on the top scientific and economic qualifications of its faculty. Since 1989 university programs have been running successfully. TU Wien is therefore the university with the longest experience in continuing education for real estate and facility management in German-speaking countries.

The cooperation with the IFM Institute of TU Wien ensures immediate application of the newest results of research into the curriculum of the MBA Facility Management program.

Excellent lecturers from research and practice

Our lecturers are an essential element for the success of our courses. We are fortunate to have won excellent university professors as well as national and international experts from the respective fields as speakers who share their first-hand knowledge and appreciate the interactive dialogue with the participants.

Due to the large network of graduates, participants and lecturers, our students are part of a larger community right from the start. The graduates Association ImmoABS forms in the tradition of alumni clubs a lifelong network that provides members the opportunity to interact and socialise. The membership of the REUG and the connected practice lectures and events also enable contact with leading figures from the industry.

Practice Relevance & Multidisciplinarity

We place great emphasis on the connection between theory and practice, because the learned should be transferred and applied into practice. The interdisciplinary approach of facility management is also reflected in the layout of the course: the areas of technology, law and economics are strategically linked.

Combination of General Management & Real Estate and Facility Management

The Professional MBA Facility Management combines knowledge and competence in the area of General Management with expertise in Real Estate and Facility Management. You get a comprehensive business education and learn in practical examples to put this knowledge into practice.

Quality Assurance & Accreditations

The importance of quality assurance and accreditation in postgraduate education has increased significantly in recent years, due to the enormous growth that has characterised continuing education as a whole. Given the ever-increasing range of studies on offer, recognized quality marks and seals of approval are major criteria for potential candidates in making an informed choice of a continuing education course that is of high quality and also meets their aspirations.

The programs offered by the Continuing Education Center fully meet Austrian national standards and statutory regulations, such as the Universities Act of 2002 and the Statutes of the TU Wien.

The Continuing Education Center also has an internal quality management system that meets international standards and directives, and which ensures continuing further development of the programs.

The Professional MBA Facility Management is accredited by FIBAA und CEPI.

The high-calibre advisory board with experts from the industry ensures that our program always remains on the pulse and is focused on the current needs in practice.

The class is held in small groups (max. 16 participants) to enable extensive discussions and to give the lecturer the chance to address the questions and requests of the participants individually.
