The Professional MBA “Facility Management" Program fully meets Austrian national standards and statutory regulations, such as the Universities Act of 2002 and the Statutes of TU Wien. In addition, the curriculum is checked by the Senate of TU Wien and enacted by Senate Decree.
The extra objective external evaluations of the program by an approved quality assurance institution makes international comparison with other programs possible and goes a long way to meeting the quality requirement of transparency.
The Professional MBA “Facility Management" Program is also accredited by two internationally renowned quality assurance institutions, FIBAA and CEPI.
The FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) is one of the foremost quality assurance institutions in Europe, with internationally recognized quality standards, and accredits programs of study provided by state and private universities throughout Europe. The aim of the FIBAA is to ensure the academic programs in question are of high quality. The seal of quality of the FIBAA is awarded to educational programs that are particularly worthy of being singled out due to their quality and sustainable nature.
In its accreditation procedure for assessing the quality of a course, the FIBAA verifies the following five core areas:
• Aims and strategy
• Admission procedures
• Design of the course
• Resources and services
• Quality assurance
In addition, the FIBAA seal of quality certifies that the accredited programs demonstrate all the quality traits required of an international MBA program, and it thus has the effect of enhancing the degrees awarded in terms of the international recognition accorded them. The FIBAA examines and, by conferring accreditation, certifies the international focus of the programs in accordance with the "Standards & Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area" of ENQA and the "European MBA Guidelines" of the European Quality Link (EQUAL).
The seal of quality is awarded to the Professional MBA Facility Management until 2020.
The CEPI (European Council of Real Estate Professions), based in Brussels, is the largest and foremost association for real estate professionals in Europe. Founded in 1990, the CEPI represents over 40 national real estate-associations in over 25 countries in the European Union, thus bringing together the expertise of more than 200.000 real estate-experts.
CEPI has set up a number of partnerships with European and American professional associations to exchange information, points of view, experience and expertise at European level. Harmonizing the European internal market requires compatible education schemes between the various countries which are accepted by the parties concerned, so that they can work beyond national boundaries within the Union. This is why CEPI aims to ensure the high European quality standard of further education for real estate professionals.
All of our real estate-programs are certified by CEPI and therefore meet or indeed exceed the extensive quality standards.
